A crisis that demanded more than awareness campaigns.

HIV cases among Palawan's youth have surged 500%. Puerto Princesa records the highest rates in MIMAROPA. Children as young as 10 are testing positive. Teenage pregnancy remains the region's highest — not despite interventions, but alongside them.

The gap between health knowledge and real behavior change had grown too wide to ignore. Save SEXY was built to close it.

Three pillars. One shared goal.

Education

HIV 101 and RH 101 sessions designed around real knowledge gaps — not generic health talks. Every session measures change through pre- and post-assessments.

Prevention

Community-based HIV screening services brought directly into neighborhoods. CBS motivator certification ensures communities can sustain testing long after the program ends.

Community Engagement

The SULYAP photo exhibit and ambassador search programs reduce stigma through art and identity — reaching youth where campaigns alone cannot.
